I. Introduction:

Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, also known as JSB3 or 3JSB, is a Japanese dance and vocal boy group formed on September 27, 2010. They are the third generation of the original J Soul Brothers and are part of the collective supergroup EXILE TRIBE. The group consists of seven members: NAOTO, Kobayashi Naoki, ELLY, Yamashita Kenjiro, Iwata Takanori, Imaichi Ryuji, and ØMI. II. History:

2010-2013

After Nidaime moved to EXILE, new members were added to J Soul Brothers in July 2010. The new members included VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 2 winners Imaichi Ryuji and Tosaka Hiroomi as vocalists, and ELLY, Yamashita Kenjiro, and Iwata Takanori as performers. NAOTO and NAOKI, former members, were re-added as leaders. The new generation, known as Sandaime J Soul Brothers, released their first single, "Best Friend's Girl", on November 10, 2010, and their debut album in 2011. In 2013, their third album "MIRACLE" reached number one.

2014-2015

On April 27, 2014, Iwata Takanori joined EXILE. The group released their thirteenth single "R.Y.U.S.E.I." on June 24, 2014, which won several awards including the Japan Record Award. Their fifth album "PLANET SEVEN" was released on January 28, 2015, and peaked at #1 on Oricon's weekly chart. III. Trivia:

Since the release of the single "SPARK" in 2013, "from EXILE TRIBE" has been added under Sandaime's group name and releases. The group launched its own fashion brand, J.S.B., in 2015. On July 7, 2017, a "J.S.B. TYO" store was opened in Tokyo by LDH apparel. In 2023, a support wear collection for the Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS PRESENTS "JSB LAND" changed the abbreviation of J.S.B. to "Just So Beautiful."

The official fandom name of the group is "MATE," deriving from "SOUL MATE." This term was first used by the group and its members in December 2018. With the reveal of the group's official light stick on November 10, 2022, it was announced that the official symbol of the fandom is a white rose.

On December 27, 2019, avex revealed the top 5 artists with the highest number of views on their YouTube channel, with Sandaime taking the 2nd spot with about 760 million views.
