I. Introduction

A Day 1N M2 ROO7и, or A Day In My Room, was a series of quarantine vlogs from the members of NCT 127 during their Neo City: The Link tour in Japan.

II. Background

After delays from the COVID-19 pandemic, NCT 127 embarked on its first Japanese dome tour in May 2022. The group had a 5-show tour, including almost sold-out show at Nagoya, and pairs of sold-out shows in Tokyo and Osaka in May and June. This was the first concert outside the country and the first full-capacity concert since the COVID shutdowns began in 2020.

Although some quarantine restrictions had eased, Japan remained under a mandatory quarantine period of 3 days for incoming travelers. Each member was in a separate room under quarantine protocols, unable to leave or meet other people face to face.

Although members of the NCT sub-unit WayV had previously recorded quarantine vlogs during the much longer quarantine period in China (2+ weeks), this was the first quarantine for the members of NCT 127.

Members kept vlogs that were later released in every other day during the period between the Tokyo and Osaka shows as this series.

Members talk about they pass the time, their hobbies and interests in a similar unfiltered style as the NCT 24-Hour Relay Cam, where members record themselves without any other staff, so without makeup, hairstylists or professional lighting.

Episode List

Episodes were released every other day at 8 pm between June 5 and June 21, 2022. Episodes are about 12-15 minutes long and released on NCT's YouTube channel.
