I. 2010–2011: Debut with Sunny Hill
Following Sunny Hill's change of labels to Nega Network in 2010, the agency announced Kota would be joining the group as a new member.
Prior to her official debut, she was featured in Narsha's Mamma Mia! as a member of Sunny Hill along with her members. She made her official debut as a member of the group on June 9, 2011 with the mini album Midnight Circus.
