  • I. Introduction

    LØREN is an artist under YG's sub-label THEBLACKLABEL. He debuted on November 13, 2020 with his single 'Empty Trash'.


    He also DJ's under the names cawlr and DJ Boid, and has started his own label under YG 'Fire Exit Records'.


    II. Career

    LØREN is the son of Haejin Lee who is the founder of NAVER. Prior to his own solo music, he is credited with producing G-Dragon's song 'Bullshit' which was released on June 8, 2017. He also used to be a model for W Korea. He made his first public appearance through Rosé's vLive. He later made an appearance in BLACKPINK's 'Lovesick Girls' MV.


    LØREN can play the drums and guitar, and has played the drums for BLACKPINK's song 'You Never Know'.


    He made is debut on November 13, 2020 with his single 'Empty Trash'.

    V. Trivia

    • His stage name derives from the tattoo on his chest which says "Loner".
    • He started drumming for his school-run jazz band, and immediately loved it more than guitar, which led to him buying a drumset right away.
    • He left Korea as a kid, and lived in Singanopore. While there, he attended an international school despite not having a grasp at English at first.


      • This is probably why he seems to be bilingual (he posts in both Korean and English on his social media).
