Utopia is the fourth EP (mini album) from Korean DJ and producer IMLAY. It was released on February 24, 2021 and features five songs, including the title track "Too Good" with Chenle from boy group NCT.
II. Background & Release
IMLAY (임레이) is a Korean songwriter, musician, DJ and producer under SM Entertainment, who produces and mixes songs collaborating with SM artists, as well as other artists in Kpop and EDM. He also releases his own music and is known for his future bass and trap beats.
Utopia is his fourth mini album and described as a contrast to his previous release, Dystopia, offering dreamlike and colorful electro pop. The album's title track, "Too Good," features the singer Chenle, one of the main vocalists in the group NCT Dream, a sub-unit of NCT. Although he had previous experience as a soloist as a child singer in China, this is his first solo release. The other singer to feature on the album is Yeseo, a Korean singer and songwriter.
