The King of Blaze - Season 2

I. Introduction

The King of Blaze is a 2018 Chinese television series based on the Taiwanese manhua of the same name (It was a bestselling comic during the early 90's that continued to enjoy widespread popularity when it entered the Chinese market in 2004). It stars Chen Bolin and Jing Tian with Zhang Yijie and Lai Yumeng. The series is separated into two different parts; the first part is set in the ancient era and Tang Dynasty while the second part is set in the modern era. It was aired on Hunan TV starting November 19, 2018.

II. Synopsis

The heart-wrenching love story continues with the domineering CEO Lin Ye (Chen Bolin). He is a young and accomplished scientist inspired by the legend of the Fire God. He gathers a group of like-minded individuals to build a green company that concentrates on environmental efforts. A reporter named Nuo Feng (Jing Tian) meets him during an interview and their relationship grows from an initial misunderstanding. Just as they have started coordinating their work in research and public relations, Lin Ye's old friend Di Yun (Sun Shaolong) appears and becomes a ruthless rival in business.
