I. Introduction
"Low Low" is the first release from the sub-unit WayV Ten and YangYang of the boy group WayV, which is itself a sub-unit of NCT. The digital single was released on August 17, 2021.
II. Background & Release
During promotions for the first WayV sub-unit, Kun & Xiaojun, in June 2021, members of WayV made reference to an additional unit, hinting that Ten and YangYang were involved in other sub-units. On August 13, the new sub-unit was announced as WayV Ten & Yangyang across WayV's social channels and Weibo. The announcement came after Ten wrapped up promotions for his solo single "Paint Me Naked." The group released its single "Low Low" on August 17.
WayV has released several English versions of their Mandarin singles, including promotions on Korean music shows; however, this single marks the first time that there has only been an English version released.
