  • I. Introduction

    PlayV is an ongoing YouTube variety series that focus on original music and song and dance covers by the boy group WayV, a NCT sub-unit.


    II. Overview

    The WayV-ariety series is the umbrella for an assortment of WayV videos on YouTube, including short videos featuring all the members and ongoing series hosted by a member or involving a specific theme.


    PlayV is an ongoing series within WayV-ariety that highlights members' original songs, as well as song and dance covers. Unlike other WayV-ariety content, it is not necessarily structured around the group's album promotions. Some of the content was aligned with the larger NCT schedule, such as the all-unit Resonance event.


    Some episodes also have behind-the-scenes WayV-log or WayV-ehind videos. In July 2022, all of this content moved under the new WayV Presents umbrella and new episodes of shows did not have the WayV-ariety name.

    III. Episode List

    All of these episodes are available on the WayV YouTube channel, usually averaging 2 to 4 minutes.

    - May 29, 2020: “Leonidas” - this original song was written by Kun and YangYang and recorded and mixed by Kun.

    - Dec. 19, 2020: 故人归 - this is Kun's original song that he wrote and produced.

    - July 2, 2021: Kun created this remix of a WayV song.

    - Sept. 14, 2021: Hendery wrote the lyrics and co-composed with Kun. Kun arranged, recorded and mixed this song.

    - Dec. 24, 2021: Xiaojun's Christmas covers have become a holiday tradition.
