WayV-ehind

I. Introduction

WayV-ehind is an ongoing YouTube series of behind-the-scenes videos following the NCT sub-unit, WayV. The series including music video shoots, photoshoots, recording, practices and other YouTube series, such as WayV-ariety. In July 2022, all of this content moved under the new WayV Presents umbrella and new episodes of shows did not have the WayV-ehind name.

II. Overview

The group structure of NCT is unique among K-Pop groups due to the fact that the concept of NCT is an ever expanding group with "unlimited" members and it is comprised of several individual subunits. WayV is one of the sub-units and has its own WayV-ehind umbrella for behind-the-scenes content, including recording, photography, practice, tours and promotional events. This series is comparable to the [Uncut] series for the other NCT units. WayV members do feature in the [Uncut] series as part of the NCT U combination unit.

The series launched in January 10, 2019, with the debut of the group, on the WayV YouTube channel. Episodes may also be connected to episodes of WayV-ariety or WayV-log content. Like all NCT content, there are moments in these episodes referred to in other content or popular in compilations and memes in the fandom.

In July 2022, all of this content moved under the new WayV Presents umbrella and new episodes of shows did not have the WayV-behind name.
