EPEX is an eight-member boy group from C9 Entertainment. They debuted on June 8, 2021, with their first EP "Bipolar Pt.1 : Prelude of Anxiety". Their name, short for Eight Apex, signifies the convergence of eight youths each reaching their own peak, reflecting the group's eight members.
**Pre-debut:**
- On March 1, 2021, C9 Entertainment established SNS accounts for the upcoming idol group.
- Member reveals took place from March 2 to March 9, with the official name announced as EPEX on April 1.
**2021:**
- Released debut EP "Bipolar Pt.1 : Prelude of Anxiety" on June 8.
- Fandom name ZENTIH announced on July 28.
- Second EP "Bipolar Pt.2 : Prelude of Love" released on October 26.
