I believe that you should celebrate the skintone that you were naturally born with. If you are naturally pale, then absolutely embrace that. If you are darker skinned, then embrace that. There is beauty in both shades and every one in between. The issue is when the beauty standard pushes ppl to be something that they are not.
If you are not naturally pale but you are expected to be pale after debuting because of societal pressures, that's not right. Not only is it not right but it usually tends to make society discriminate against people who aren't pale (see: colorism)
