irene is the center of the group for a reason . No other member can come close to her potential. She is a great dancer . Decent vocalist. Amazing stage presence. (Yes her face is blank but her presence doesn't come from her visuals. Believe it or not it's because of her body expressions) . She 'was' amazing at variety shows . But i acknowledge she got less courage because of hate .
Her personality is that of a typical top celebrity. Like tactfulness authenticity beauty fun and quirky. High eq and such . Yes she got too anxious for a long while but her performance is much better now 2020_ 2024 she is bqck to her old self .
Not a filler member at all infact i think she is the most essential member .
So no irene's decision at being an idol isn't wrong but just suited
