In Japan only 3 stadiums are bigger than the Tokyo dome, Nissan which in concert format is about 65 thousand, it's often reported to be 75k but that's only possible if you play a 360 style concert. Standard floor stage style is about 65-68k vs TD which is around 50k.

The thing is though the Yokohama Nissan is a lot more expensive to rent and to format a concert in, from what I've heard it's about 3-4 times more expensive to hold a concert there over the Tokyo Dome. So it doesn't make sense to pay a lot more for only a few thousand more people.

The other two venues, if my memory is right, is a Stadium in Saitama which is around 60-ish thousand give or take and of course the national stadium which is huge, even bigger than the Nissan Yokohama. Afaik neither of those stadiums hold concerts and if they do they seem to be quite rare or special events. I have no memory of any Jpop or international acts playing either of those stadiums.

In Japan it just doesn't make sense to book stadiums since domes make more money per ticket due to costing and rental fees and all but 1 reliably bookable stadium are smaller than the Tokyo Dome.

Abs say a lot of stuff, back was a time it used to be claimed that her faves were number 1 in Korea. Back was a time her faves used to claim to be bigger than TWICE in the US or outside of EA.

TS says a lot of things, at the end of the day TWICE is having one of their best years ever and they just turned 6, other groups at that age barely sell, can't tour or sell shows bigger than 1-2k, have massively dropping Youtube and Spotify.

When new groups come out, sure passing of torches happens, popularity changes, etc it's the way of things. But if there's one group that doesn't ned to fear the 4th generation or 5th or whatever we're on now it's TWICE. Plenty of other 3rd gen are dropping like flies or have had their fandoms completely absorbed by their hoobaes, I think they should worry about whos number 1 or 2 while TWICE can look forward to their 7 sold out Arena's in the USA in a few weeks.
