Damn, they lost Daesung? I will never understand yg. He was super successful in Japan and he could have killed it in Korea if they put any effort in (i know he had the scandal and everything but i think he could have come back from it - he had a fun double act with jaesuk of all people and an amazing voice!).

I really wanna know what went down behind the scenes with them - how tf did they go from booking coachella to releasing (what i really hope isn't) a goodbye song? Top said they couldn't agree on a musical direction and the pressure and the risk must have felt crazy - but i wanna know how that broke down so bad..

Yup, this. It's seriously gross. Honestly, nothing's changed. Apparently, mental health awareness and refraining from mass bullying and bodyshaming only applies to the idols you like and for everyone else it's a free for all. Until oops, tee hee, you go too far with someone vulnerable and something awful happens. Urgh, I hate this aspect of kpop stan culture so much.
