Different place and time. I think you guys need to understand that sistar dropped their tracks when kpop was dominating the charts and the gp actually cared about kpop. Hitting #1 is incredible harder these days as the gp tends to stay away from kpop or only listen to heavily pushed big 3 girlgroups but even then they flopped harder these years than they would have previously.
Sistar unfortunately lacked the fanbase because unlike today it was much harder for non big 3 girlgroups to cultivate a fanbase so they only relied on the gp support while mamamoo has both an international and korean fanbase.
You can't compare both groups because their situations and time was different.

To the annoying fans in here hwasa also won with Maria on the boom boom awards along with blackpink that night. Maria went viral with the locals on tiktok thus it isn't only the biggest kpop song in the qq charts but it was one of the most streamed songs overall.

Wheein & Hwasa probably have better offers that's why RBW is going hard ball but clearly in a dumb way. Honestly RBW should just give into the girls demands rather than bringing the public and fans into their negotiation process, I mean even netizens are commenting that hwasa can do better than RBW.
Due to the articles other companies that were already interested in the girls may go even harder after seeing that RBW can't even secure them.
To me the girls would have already resigned if there was no problem with the contract. Rbw should just give wheein & hwasa what they want if they expect them to stay instead of putting this pressure that may backfire.

I wouldnt be suprised if wheein and hwasa wouldn't renew.
Wheein clearly is tired of the idol life style plus she had few chart hits under her belt which means she's probably well sought after among non-idol companies. With hwasa she's the biggest idol of 2020 her momentum is big. Non fans may have noticed that RBW gives a lot of their idols freedom but that also comes with the lack of proper management, budget and promo, everything is just a mess on wheels in that company.
There is risk that if hwasa resigns with RBW that she might be forced to make less solo comebacks with smaller budget (because purple kiss will be the focus in 2021) then she may waste her momentum. Unfortunately if she stays without bargaining highly and demanding more out of RBW then it's basically her sacrificing her own career.
I'm just saying as fan I will no longer complain about rbw's incompetence if all the members chose to resign.
