Might sound weird? But I wish my parents were like that.. mine didn't really care much, so it was either I had to be determined to learn something myself or I just wouldn't learn it. Which resulted in me not learning it
Same thing with sports, like they let me try a lot of things, but never actually "made" me do it, which is why I would usually quit pretty fast, until I started dancing that is..
I guess both things have their up and down sides, because it's nice not getting forced to do something, but on the other hand it would've really helped me out a lot if they sort of forced me to try things out
Yeah I guess it's never a win-win situation.... because I have this personality where when someone forces me to do something, I won't want to do it or like it, so I ended up quitting everything, but I think things would have been different if I had taken the decision to do it by myself, since I really love music
