I think you’re missing what I’m trying to say. It’s not about what’s easier or what most people do it’s about personal preference. I don’t enjoy most P-pop, and the only T-pop group I’ve remotely enjoyed is Perses. That doesn’t mean I haven’t explored it means I have, and I simply didn’t connect with it the way I have with lesser-known K-pop or J-pop groups.
I actively enjoy the discovery process. I’d rather explore and support hidden gems than just jump into whatever top group is trending. That’s what makes the experience fun and meaningful for me.
People have different tastes. Some connect more with certain languages, visuals, or production styles. Exploration doesn’t mean everyone will end up at the same destination.
Understandable. At least you explored tpop unlike most people. Even if you dont like it, you're open-minded enough to explore
I feel like top groups in different industries can be considered hidden gems like nugu groups. groups like pixxie may be popular in thailand but can also be considered a hidden gem among kpop fans.
People have different tastes and that's ok, but i feel like people should explore more out of their comfort zones. Just that tbh.
