That's true, but in the end you can't compare Mix 9 with produce as produce was much more famous and successful. We could compare the two if Mix9 group debuted and promoted and we all know how it ended. Somi debuted, Ryujin didn't.

No group from produce survived and I don't think it's a coincidence. If you consider regular fans they'll say that only Chungha and Sejeong and now Somi are thriving. And what will they tell you about Sejeong? that her hype killed gugudan, not many people mention bad management etc so in a way gugudan could be miss a of their company

Sure she left on her own and sure she was able to share the spotlight, but that's not the problem. She could be sharing her spotlight but the public most likely would care mostly about her and it would turn into Somi and friends. If you wish Somi, Ryujin and friends.
