people have really been trying to use Mafia as an excuse to say Itzy have been copying BP's sound. Before Mafia, i never once had that thought. And even with Mafia, I don't think it's too heavily influenced by BP. My first thoughts were it sounded like a boy group song with all the rapping and what seemed like disjointedness at first. When Itzy first came out, their sound was so unique and new, a lot of people automatically hated it. Same with Icy. Itzy has always had their own type of sound. Bp doesn't always have to be involved in every kpop story.

i cant un-hear Jennie's opening purr from Pretty Savage in Yuna's opening "Shh". It does sound a bit like a BP song. Like a song to put on in the background and just vibe to the beat. Some parts in the verses also remind me of a Cardi B song also. But i like this song more than any other BP song. This song gets better with more listens.

itzy really did inspire a lot. I remember when Dalla Dalla came out and how polarizing it was. People legit hated that song bc they wasn't used to their sound. They had to really work to turn Dalla Dalla into a hit. And once it became a huge hit, that's when the inspiring started to happen.

lol im listening to it now. It wasn't my favorite of theirs but it really grows on you. I hope this song has some longevity.

honestly Twice were on their WAY to becoming a little something in America. Those concerts they did and sold out gave them some reallty good buzz and the concert i saw in NJ was packed out with so much energy. But corona really fucked up thier trajectory. They were probably gonna come back last year and build on thier hype but again, corona. Im honestly not sure if they can regain their momentum in America. Probably why jyp is focusing on Itzy with America.

this was my favorite Jungyeon era. I felt it during the time they were promoting. She just looked so gorgeous during this era and I watched so many of her fan cams because she has a more curvy body, so she looked really good doing the feminine choreography for Feel Special. Especially during the chorus.
