kpop fans like to bitch about one idol getting the worst outfit but kpop outfits are often coordinated similarly for the whole group
there's gonna be some hierarchy but the difference is not nearly as big as people make it sound
there are edge cases of course, like wendy's god awful outfit in zimzalabim but those are not the norm
often idols with the best physiques pull off everything to the point kpop fans say they always get the "good outfits" but you know what ? that "unflattering outfit" on one idol would not look so unflattering on someone with a top physique
are there certain body compositions that dont suit some styles? sure
but that's not the outfit's fault
unlike makeup and hairstyle which can directly make a good face look back and the vice versa, an outfit cant make a great physique look bad and cant turn a not-so-ideal physique into an exceptional one
