How powerful are the CEO of K-pop companies like Hybe, SM, YG, JYP and others ?

from my understanding they have limited powers

They are still very small compare to big players like CJ and Kakao.

Kpop influence is still relatively new and they are the new money. Their influence is nothing compare to old money type like Hyundai or Samsung family who have generations of wealth and power.

Can they throw abit of money at journalist to skew the news? Yes

Can they influence the election? Nah
