What do you think motivate Bts these days to work?

I mean they have enough money, awards, acclaim,… already yet they’re still working hard. Most would already start to lay low. What motivate them?

like antis say maybe to evade military? government wouldn't give them exemption if they start laying low already.

Maybe they just enjoy idol life and making music. Many musicians remain in the business long after they've already become millionaires and some never retire at all.

And in BTS' case it's noteworthy that members like Suga or RM choose to write and produce for other artists as well, so there's definitely a love for music and the whole creative process. Why give up what you enjoy doing just because you're rich?

But even if they didn't enjoy it, they all signed a contract, so it's not like they could just quit and move to the Bahamas tomorrow without any repercussions.

why does it feel like this is such a foreign concept for some kpop fans? (this isn't meant as an attack on OP btw)

even on their break the members were working continuously on their mixtapes, solo music they produce themself & release for free to show their individual sides with the craft they love & know so much. The eldest have shown their passion for music & producing music from the very beginning, but even the ml have been a constant prescence in the studio since a few years now because they love music so much.

it's the same with the army interactions. Tae comes on weverse often in the evening/night when he can't sleep or misses his fans, jk has been so happy & free spirited with his instagram interactions,.. they do it bc they want to bc they like it. they are at a point in their carreer they don't need to do such things to keep fans or something.

They like performing and making music. That's not to say that they always feel motivated to do so. They go through creative blocks, unmotivated periods like everyone else. Multiple members have been open about this. But at the end of the day it comes back to their love for what that are doing. So they are going to continue that as long as it makes sense to them.

Passion for music and performing. Also, they are workaholics.

they need to live in places with good security to keep away crazy fans, that is a lot of money

provably they are paying a lot of things for their familly

also if you win a lot of money and don`t give back a good portion...

so the money comes and goes very quickly man, i hope they are doing good investments with it

because they love what they do and aren't purely financially motivated? most of us work because we need money to chase after desires in life but don't forget that there are people who genuinely love their jobs, killing 3 birds with 1 stone

They actually take their music career seriously.

They might not always approach their music with gusto and enthusiasm (they've talked about burnout and lack of motivation before) but they always come back to it. They genuinely love music and they're always experimenting.

Sometimes we'll see their finished products sometimes they just mention them to us but at the core of it, they love music.

Their passion for music, maybe.
