If you were Somi, would you regret not joining Itzy?

Sure Somi earns enough money, but she only gets 1 comeback per year with Teddy base drop, Blackpink-lite music and concept. If you were Somi, would you regret not joining Itzy and get to be more of an artist/performer?

her choreos are really stupid, and she should be working hard to do itzys choreos

but with the same level of difficulty singing. cos both are easy. but itzy gets a lot of hate on their singing, well they win more music shows i guess.

and once you get the solo career is easy to go by your own. you don`t share anything, and she is being taken care.

If I was Somi I would regret signing to the black label. I love Somi and she deserves so much better her music is good but it can run on the basic/boring side of things and as a solo artist promotions are so important. She still needs to grow her popularity that PD101 fame isn't gonna last forever.

If she would've joined she would be limited to the group, with hardly any solo activities and opportunities.

Now everything she does contributes to elevating her solo career, which keeps growing.

She doesn't fit itzy I think she's happy in tbl. She's getting the freedom to do whatever she wants.

Maybe she regrets not being in a group, but not Itzy specifically, just because it would suit her personality. But she's an independent adult now, so that might not be true anymore.

Career wise, she definitely made the right choice. She's probably the richest 4th gen and one of the richest 3rd gen female idols, and all idols eventually have to make the transition to solo work (as an idol/singer, actor, entertainer, model, etc.) so she's getting a great head start by promoting her name as a solo artist (not her group name that her company would own). I wouldn't even be surprised if Somi had some ownership of TBL.

Not people still debating this when Somi is doing much better than Itzy (and 90% of all 3rd gen idols tbh). She earns tons from CFs and gets to chill, guesting on variety shows and web shows here and there, and already built a name for herself as a soloist.
