kpop kinda dry last couple years

usually theres a big hallyu wave every couple years that bring in excitement but everything been mild lately. The last wave was in 2016-2017 w the explosion of BP, Twice and BTS and more. When is the next big wave coming?

It feels dry because the 3rd gen leaders are still leading above the newbies by far. It doesn't help they are inactive too

Third gen are getting too rich and successful to interact with us plebs much anymore, fourth gen can't get through yet. And Bigbang who I thought was going to get things going again are going to drop a digital single with no promo and dip.
