Is this good for a Japanese release?

yeah it's absolutely fine for a Japanese release

fans usually don't go all out streaming, since it won't be considered for any music shows

forgot to say in my previous comment that kpop stans also often don't know about the Japanese activities of groups they don't stan so there's a chance they won't know of the existence of the song for days after the release

that is fine for a JP release

I would have thought it would get higher views because the girls look incredible.

But the song is Itzy at their awkward worst. Doing their best with a song that's just not good enough, however loudly Midzys proclaim it's SOTY. Twice have good Japanese releases so why were Itzy shut off from those resources?
