BH is extremely poor at spacing out comebacks

I was just thinking about it, they released ptd barely a month after butter. Honestly ptd is a bop but one of the main reasons why it was hated so much was because bts really had just released butter, which was a very poppy song and then releasing ptd barely a month after it just made it look repetitive.

If they waited at least till oct, bts hiatus would not affect armys this much and ptd would be more of a success honestly

nah it won't change a thing. ptd is just not a good song and armys don't really like it enough to go full support like butter.

spacing it would have resolved one big problem: Butter's huge momentum wouldn't have been compromised..

that song had huge potential, the reception was very positive (even kpop stans & locals were vibing to it) , it was pulling insane numbers (broke ADELE'S record) and was on it's way to beating almost every dynamite record, but with ptd coming so soon after it, butter didn't get to attention it deserved.

i'll forever be bitter about that. Butter is, almost one year later, still pulling 1.3 MILLION streams.

Ptd was more like bside to butter. Ptd is not importsnt release like butter. But i agree it shouldn't have been released this close to butter. Megan remix and ptd release dates should have been swapped. It would have given better push to butter and had become bigger than it already was.

I wish they never released ptd tbh, cringe song imo, still gonna support their next cb but i hope it's a lot better

PTD just shouldn't have been released at all (worse version of butter/dynamite) but maybe releasing 3 English songs was part of the deal with Ron Perry

I feel this with TXT. They'll have a large break in between both Korean and Japanese releases and then turn around 3-4 months later with a new release to get 2 in before the end of the year.
