Yes I agree it's 100 percent wrong but I think it works both ways. A lot of reactors aren't genuine at all and do it for the fame and attention.....

It's marketing

No, I look at it like a marketing technique, however a bold one. Because they cannot decide HOW the reactor would react. They just simply state hey, we're going to pay XYZ for you to react, deal?
It is the same as if you were to go on Twitch and see streamers having a sponsor stream to play XYZ games. If gamers or reactors wanted to keep the relationship going then of course they would react positively or give feedbacks, however the company cannot control that aspect so it's a bit bold.
When you get paid to do something, majority of the time you wouldn't want to do a bad job at it. If the songs good, I see it as a win-win. Not sure why people blasting the issue up, maybe whichever group it was, was an easy target. It might even cost less to the company to partner with a youtuber than actual marketing companies.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. You all were just conditioned into villainising marketing and promotions because of the silly pissing contests kpop fans do over whose faves achieved more with less promoting. You all won't survive a day in a commerce-related job with this immature mentality.
