Daigo Nishihata of Naniwa Danshi has tested positive for the novel coronavirus COVID-19, according to Johnny & Associates.
On January 20, Daigo took a periodic PCR test and a positive diagnosis was given. He was asymptomatic when he took the test, but has since developed a sore throat. He is currently under the watch of medical staff.
The rest of Naniwa Danshi was tested on January 20 and 21, with all negative results.
