Has Cultural Appropriation in Kpop taken a break?

Is it just me or has there not been a massive case of CA in a while (or have I just missed it)?

Have companies finally educated themselves and their staff or will we soon see another case of CA?

Maybe after the complete clownery with J Park or the black fishing case with that Little Mix woman they realized that it's actually something that can affect their idols and if they want to enter the U.S market it's best to stay on the right foot.

You probably missed it. There's new cases everyday, just not as big. These companies will never learn

Nah, it's just that the 15 year olds kids have to spend the holidays season with their parents being supervised.

So less time trying to reach and make big issues out of non-consequential things.

whatever it is, I'm glad the frequency died down for now.

There haven’t been many cbs for the last few weeks due to the holidays. Give it time when more groups cb and then the CA bullshit will start again.

Indians in India generally don't care unless a part of their religion is misrepresented. If you do it tastefully or if you do it because you like the look, they generally don't care.

There’s a different between appreciation and appropriation.

Appropriation is CL’s whole musical career by trying to act like she grew up in the ghettos of Compton and talking with an ebonics vocabulary when she didn’t even grow up remotely around black people.
