when the dating news broke half the comments said he could do better and i was like WHAT… because Jisoo’s objectively gorgeous what better do you mean better???

i wonder if basically idols are like disney stars to the korean GP and actors ect are considered “real celebrities”

yeah i always didnt understand why idols are concerned lower class.

like i remember whenever idols performed at acting awards those acotrs look like stones.....its really awkward. like singing, dancing, rapping is not easy. put some respect of their talents.

acting is also a talent but i dont get why is sooo highly regarded...while idols are looked down upon.

I thought it was common knowledge that idols are looked down in SK and are more comparable to Disney stars. Doesnt matter which group is, being an idol is more like the bottom of the ladder to then become a respected soloist or actor. They can still be rich, successful and a household name, but their name doesnt evoke as much respect as from other careers. I agree that Jisoo could do much better though.

When the speculations first came up it was in 2019 when YG reputation was in the dumpster. Many of the comments from knetz were acting like Jisoo was a druggie just because she was in the company... a lot of the negativity abt their dating rumors came from YG idols general bad reputation at the time and his gross fans, not really bc Jisoo is an idol. No one really said much when the scandal came up again in 2021

Tbh not really a blink but Jisoo is much more attractive than he is and she's def rich enough on her own

for starter the rumors didn't make sense at all glad it got debunked but never understood why Jisoo was treated as a peasant when he is not even good looking.

Not always though. The guy who plays Gihun in Squid Game is with a super rich chaebol woman, ex of the head of Samsung, and she gets hated on every time they're in public for not being pretty enough for him. Though if you examine his dating history that may not be his priority. He dated another chaebol woman before her who paid serious money to clear his debts. He makes that charming smile work for him...

She's pretty, but only thing she really does is sing the songs Teddy oppa gives her and stifly goes along with bps 'choreo'. Son has made an actual, respected name for himself.
