agree if their fav songs flop on charts they'll blame the producers and the company but if their faves songs are successful they'll praise their faves only.

The only analogy that I can think of is managers and websites

The whole company to an extent designs, develops, designs, or otherwise influences the front and back end of the development of the website

when its going well the managers loves the website and how it can do amazing things, when it isn't going well they make jokes about how developers were hired off the street or generally shit on them.
