HAN SEO HEE information from testimony in YG drug investigation.

YANG HYUN SUK claims that HAN SEO HEE was not threatened.

YANG HYUN SUK, a former Producer for YG Entertainment (hereinafter YG), who was indicted on charges of covering up a drug investigation of a former member of group iKON (B.I), is attending his first hearing at the Seoul Central District Court in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 5th. (Photo)

HAN SEO HEE (Age 26), a former idol trainee who claims to have been threatened by YANG HYUN SUK (Age 51), a former YG Entertainment CEO/Founder, reportedly promised the (Police) Prosecution to cooperate in the (Police) Investigation into YG singers (for illegal drugs), and thus avoided arrest (for marijuana usage).

On the 5th, the first Court Hearing was held at the Seoul Central District Court's Criminal Agreement Department 23 (Senior Judge Yoo Young Geun) on charges of Violating the Law on the Aggravated Punishment of certain crimes, by former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK (retaliation threat). Former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK attended the Trial this day.

Former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK was indicted in 2016, on charges of threatening HAN SEO HEE, a (now legally designated) 'Public Interest Reporter' -- who accused YG's former talent, B.I of iKON group, of buying illegal drugs -- to *change her statement* (about B.I's illegal drugs activities) to the Police. Former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK's Lawyer pleaded not guilty, saying, "It is true that the defendant met HAN SEO HEE, who discussed with Police, concerning their suspicions that B.I purchased illegal drugs. But he did not threaten or force her to make a false statement (to Police about B.I's illegal drugs activities)."

Police Detective 'A' who investigated HAN SEO HEE (HSH) in Year 2016 (and B.I) , appeared as a witness at the Trial. He said --> "I arrested HAN SEO HEE at a residential area for smoking marijuana, and when I confiscated her Cell Phone at the time, there was a situation of drug transactions (on her) KakaoTalk. I asked HAN SEO HEE about that part (drug deals/KakaoTalk). And persuaded her (HAN SEO HEE) to agree to Police Investigation cooperation (on illegal drugs) involving YG Agency's B.I and others (K-pop Idols)."

He also testified that (HSH) HAN SEO HEE was caught in a drug deal with YG's singers and received a strong warning. Police Detective 'A' said, "If HAN SEO HEE supplies drugs to YG singers once again, she kills them without even knowing it. I told her (HSH) that I was summoned by YG, to warn that I won't be able to keep my feet in Korea." ... (Note: CONFUSING what Police Detective 'A' means in his 'not keep feet' comment)

From Year 2019, a transcript of HAN SEO HEE and Police Dectective 'A's phone call was also released, and in the transcript, Police Detective 'A' persuaded HAN SEO HEE to interview with a K-News Media Outlet.

He said --> "At that time, HAN SEO HEE (said she) would shut her mouth (so, not make statements to Police about YG Agency?) if YANG HYUN SUK would give (HSH) 500 Million WON (Money ???) ... And HAN SEO HEE also said as --> 'I will make YANG HYUN SUK fall.' ... I (Police Dectective 'A') was appalled (disgusted with HSH)."

While HAN SEO HEE (HSH), a former K-pop Idol Trainee, claims to have been threatened by YANG HYUN SUK, former CEO of YG Entertainment, it has emerged that she promised to cooperate with the Police Investigation of YG singers (talent), in order to avoid arrest (for illegal marijuana usage, Year 2016).

Police Officer CHOI appeared as a witness at the first Trial Hearing of former YG CEO YANG's alleged 'threats of retaliation' (toward HSH)

at the Seoul Central District Court on the 5th.

CHOI stated as --> "HAN SEO HEE was arrested at her residence on charges of marijuana possession smoking. And when I confiscated her phone, there was a situation of drug transactions stored in her KakaoTalk."

CHOI continued --> "We decided to ask HAN SEO HEE about that (illegal drugs/KakaoTalk) ... And (succeeded to) persuade her (HSH) to cooperate with the Police Investigation of YG's B.I and (Artist Talent) others."

CHOI added --> "The Prosecutor rejected the Arrest Warrant for HAN SEO HEE (Year 2016) ... And the (rejection) reason was that HAN SEO HEE said she would cooperate with the (Police) Investigation into the singer (B.I) who traded (drugs for money) with her ... So, the Prosecutor asked for a non-arrest investigation."

CHOI finished --> "HAN SEO HEE was already caught in another (illegal) drugs case at the time of her arrest. So, she was being investigated for drugs at another police station."

Police Officer CHOI suggested this (HSH accepted) 'plea bargain'

to HAN SEO HEE. And in return, her arrest warrant was rejected,

and (HSH) was (Holding Jail) released, Aug. 22, 2016.

In a related development, YANG HYUN SUK's lawyer pointed out that the statement made at the Trial (now), and HAN SEO HEE's statement at the time of the Police Investigation in September 2019, were different. He also pleaded *not* guilty (for his client), saying, "It is true that the defendant met HAN SEO HEE, but he did not threaten or force her to make a false statement."

When the presiding Judge asked former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK if he was in agreement with his Lawyer's opinion, YANG HYUN SUK briefly replied, "Yes." ... YANG HYUN SUK, who has claimed innocence through his Lawyer, again denied the charges in the first Trial on this day.

It is the first time for former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK to appear in Court in this case. When HAN SEO HEE was arrested on illegal drug charges and investigated by the Police (Year 2016), YANG HYUN SUK was told (by a YG employee) about (HSH) HAN SEO HEE discussing B.I and his illegal drugs activities, with Police at that time. YANG HYUN SUK then met with HAN SEO HEE at his YG HQ Building Office shortly afterward. He is now placed on Trial with Criminal Charges of Obstructing B.I's Investigation by Police, and intimidating (threatening) HAN SEO HEE (at their meeting, with the goal of having HSH change her statements to Police about B.I's illegal drugs activities).

HAN SEO HEE was arrested (Year 2016) on illegal drug charges and was questioned by Police (about B.I purchasing illegal drugs). But she (later) reversed her position (statements to Police about B.I's activities). Since then, HAN SEO HEE has done 'Special Interest Reporter' (legally designated) testimony to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (an S.K Government entity) in June 2019. And stated that YANG HYUN SUK had threatened her (their Year 2016 meeting), concerning her initial statements to Police about B.I and his illegal drugs activities. (Note: HAN SEO HEE was given 'Special Interest Reporter' *legal protection from prosecution* for her personal illegal drugs activities, as a result.)

The regional investigation unit of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, which investigated the case (B.I and YANG HYUN SUK situation), then sent that case to the Prosecution last year (April 2020). Charges were subsequently filed against B.I of illegal drugs usage. The Seoul District Prosecutors' Office then took over the case (B.I and YANG HYUN SUK situation) from the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, and investigated it (further). And then handed YANG HYUN SUK over to Trial, with Criminal Charges, about a year later (May 2021).

B-I was sentenced (Sept. 2021) to three years in prison, converted instead to four years of probation (no prison time duration, but illegal drugs Urine Testing, once per month) in the first Trial (Court) for buying and using illegal drugs from HAN SEO HEE. (Note: HAN SEO HEE , as a 'Special Interest Reporter' -- legally designated, is *protected from prosecution* for her illegal drugs activities in this B.I situation.)

And the B.I punishment was confirmed (finalized), as neither B.I nor the Prosecutor did ask for an APPEALS COURT review of the punishment.

HAN SEO HEE and B.I. were chosen as witnesses

for the Trial of former YG CEO/Founder YANG HYUN SUK,

but did not attend the first Trial on this day.

(Note: HAN SEO HEE will be the *primary* Prosecution witness)

A next Trial Court event date is scheduled for December 6th.
