South Korea has eased curbs as part of its "living with COVID-19" strategy. Curfews have been lifted for eateries, workers have returned to offices and students are back on campus. Up to 100 people can attend large events, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated. But bars, gyms and saunas will require proof of vaccination or a negative test result. South Korea plans to gradually phase out restrictions as its vaccination rate tops 75%. The authorities plan to scrap all COVID rules by February. South Korea's new infections have dropped below 2,000 for the first time in five days.
