HWANG HANA (ex-GF YOOCHUN = JYJ) changed the appeal, saying,

"Some illegal drugs usage admitted. No theft." ; 2021.10.18

[HWANG HANA , past romantic interest of YOOCHUN (JYJ K-pop Group) ... And (Chaebol) a wealthy heiress of a large Dairy Firm (S.K) owner family ... HWANG HANA (Age 33) admitted some of the charges of illegal drugs usage in this current Second Trial, unlike the First Trial.]

On the (Oct.) 18th, the Seoul Western District Court's Criminal Appeal Department 1-1 (Senior Judge Sung Ji-Ho) held the First TRIAL of an APPEAL against HWANG HANA, who was sentenced to TWO YEARS in PRISON for taking illegal drugs again during her (previous) Court Probation Period (for the same illegal drugs usage offense , sourced from previous events in Year 2019).

On the same day, Judge Sung reviewed the results of the First TRIAL, saying, "(HWANG HANA) She was acquitted of some (illegal) drugs usage and guilty of the rest." ... HWANG HANA's Lawyer said --> ... "She denied (the charges in the last TRIAL), but she was (found) guilty of taking (illegal) drugs," ... And he added --> ... "She appealed (TRIAL now) because of the unfair sentence (duration of TWO YEARS PRISON punishment)."

The JUDGE observed --> ... (According to HWANG HANA's statement of reasons for this Court Appeal TRIAL) ... "The original Court (First TRIAL) ruled out (some aspects of) guilt in the illegal drugs usage. She has denied any involvement in the theft."

In response, HWANG HANA's Lawyer said, "(In the original First TRIAL) She denied all the illegal drugs usage and theft ... But she will (now) admit (some) illegal drugs usage , but not admit the (property) theft."

The Court JUDGE said of the charges --> ... "(In the original First TRIAL) the defendant (HWANG HANA) was not questioned. I will question her (now , in this Appeals Court situation)."

JUDGE Sung said --> ... "Let's proceed today if possible." ... But the (HWANG HANA) Lawyer demanded an (postponement) end for (his) lack of preparation ... So , postponement of (HWANG HANA) the defendant's interrogation and decision was granted , and will be made at the (Court) Second Hearing on Oct. 28th.

HWANG HANA was Arrested in January (2020) and handed over to Trial on charges of injecting methamphetamine with her husband , (now deceased) late Mr. Oh (HWANG HANA's husband) , her acquaintance , Mr. Nam , and Mr. Kim , several times , between August and December last Year 2020. When she was under (illegal drugs) Court Probation Period. She is also accused of stealing luxury clothing worth $4250 USD from Mr. Kim's home. Mr.Nam, a (illegal) drug accomplice (user) , became in (hospital) critical condition , due to an (suicide) extreme choice on December 17 (2020) last year and is recovering. While HWANG HANA's husband, Mr. Oh, died of an (suicide) extreme choice on December 24 (2020).

[Added Information: BOTH of these suicide situations (Mr. NAM , and Mr. OH = now deceased husband of HWANG HANA) were a direct result of involvement with HWANG HANA's current illegal drugs usage events ... Mr. OH , apparently falsely , had made POLICE Statements , that HE was FULLY responsible in HWANG HANA's current illegal drugs usage situation. Later , Mr. OH became depressed about his statements (apparently false , in an attempt to shield HWANG HANA , his wife , from ARREST) to POLICE. And so , Mr. OH subsequently committed suicide]

In the First TRIAL in July 2021, the Court sentenced HWANG HANA to TWO YEARS in PRISON , and a fine of 400,000 won. The court found that some of the disposable syringes submitted to the Police by her husband, the late Mr. OH , had positive results of (indicated) methamphetamine , and also HWANG HANA's bloodstains , and her DNA. (The original First TRIAL Court ruled) Testimony from Mr. NAM's older brother Mr. A (a friend of Mr. OH) , and Mr. NAM's friend Mr. B , who (both) appeared at the original First TRIAL , were credible. And that she (HWANG HANA) had committed a (illegal drugs usage) crime of the same kind during the Court Probation Period (Year 2019 sourced). The Prosecution had demanded a two-years and six-months Prison Term (duration) and a $340 USD (money) fine. HWANG HANA claimed that "there were insufficient parts (aspects) during the investigation process (by Police)" and Court Appealed the decision (by the original First TRIAL Court).

HWANG HANA was previously arrested on charges of taking methamphetamine at her home in Seoul in May and September of Year 2015. In July 2019 , she was released after being sentenced to one year in prison , converted instead to two years of Court Probation (NO JAIL time) , $1850 USD in (money) fines, Court Probation , and (illegal) drugs treatment. In November of that Year (2019) , the First TRIAL (result and punishment) was confirmed when (HWANG HANA) her appeal was rejected by the Appeals Court (in Year 2019). And so currently , HWANG HANA is being criticized for being caught with illegal drugs usage again (NOW) , during this previous (Year 2019 ordered) Court Probation Period.
