I have my suspicions on HYBE/Bighit as well.
You have a perfectly good vocalist who is the only trained one in the group, and you encourage her to sing (which is great), sing outside of her range (uh oh), make her sing super strained high notes (yikes), and make it all live.
There is NO WAY that Fingertip was not the beginning of her vocal struggles.
Yuju too knew how to use her voice! She had resonance and was super random, she hit an F5 once! She could do so well and improve!
But NO. Sure, it sounds good but there's no need to strain and damage something that will take a long long time to recover on.
I can't imagine how it felt for her, being overworked and not being able to recuperate.
Now I hope she can be happy and work on her voice if that's what she wants.
