Protect Women's sports

  • Why are we still debating this? Anyone who pays attention to history and science knows why women deserve their own category to shine and succeed. The separation is and always has been based on biological sex, not gender id. No offense, I'm just not sure how else to describe this, but sports were never segregated according to "superficial labels", just because the cisgender women all called themselves women. It's because of their female-sexed bodies. If someone has gone through male puberty, they have an unfair advantage since some things are irreversible and their bodies won't be indistinguishable from bio women. Larger lung capacity, greater bone density, more muscle, larger heart, different bone structure, etc. Women who do combat sports and train with men have said themselves men are much more powerful. A guy who is shorter and weighs less than a woman is described as being much stronger than another woman who is taller and weighs more than her. It's a completely different animal! It's thanks to women's sports that Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, etc have been able to make a name for themselves. Don't call cisgender women "losers" who need to "just try harder" effin' misogynist. There actually are some trans female athletes who refuse to compete against cisgender women, and I respect that. I only see an exception if a trans woman never went through male puberty. They should create trans categories, otherwise. The main point is to protect women's sports.

  • Lmao your whole argument would only seek to divide people even more, rather than only just female and male, we'd have more divisions simply because you believe it's unfair that people have a sex change and then compete unfairly. Let them, but don't let them compete competitively for say 5 years. If they cry like a bitch, that's their problem they decided to change sex at a date when they plan to compete with others for money/fame
