On April 18, 2025, it was announced that LeanBranding would be debuting their first global group at the end of May 2025. The same day, Ling Ling was revealed to be the first member of the group.

On April 24, it was announced that SAAY would be in charge of producing the group's debut album and the vocal training of the members.

On April 29, Harin was revealed as a member of the group, followed by Kurumi on April 30, Kylie on May 1, Doyeon on May 2, and Roah on May 3.

"Kill Ma Bo$$" (stylized in all-caps) is the first digital single by KIIRAS. It was released on May 29, 2025.
