  • I can't recall any kpop idols from that region. It would have been groundbreaking to have an idol from that region in a major company like SM. Not to discredit other thai idols before her, but this could've been their Lisa moment. I think it's important to have idols from other regions in major companies because it could influence others from that region to pursue a kpop career.

Agreed! SM had just debuted their first Chinese idol Victoria! Would have been something but I guess things didn’t work out  Maybe she thought idol life isn’t for her and left on her own accord :?:

Trainee life is also really intense and not for everyone!

Most likely that because you have to be very committed to seek a new company after not making it with a big 4 company. I assume many see that as the top and when you're close to making it and don'. Then I assume you might doubt if idol life is worth it because tough to find right landing spot. Also being a foreigner would make it extra hard to deal with finding a new company. I don't think you see it that often where a foreign idol was close to join a big 4 company, and finds a new company.

Yes, agreed! I imagine the language barrier and being far away from home and loved ones and the long training/ studying hours is enough to make most given up idol life :(
