they are from Dearstage, in contrast with the other DS groups they are closer to mainstream Jpop think along the lines of some of the 46 / 48 groups

there is a little bit of a meme with the group in that supposedly summer in japan only starts when they release a MV in the beach, back in 2017 after Nagi Nemoto joined they released a MV in the beach that went viral in japan, next year they released another summer MV and went viral, next one the same, since Nagi left there is less fanfare about it but the tradition remains

if i recall the explanation is that the group are brand ambassadors for ANA (an air line in japan) basically the summer MVs are commercials for the brand

the digital single is going to be released on July 8, the video doesn't make it clear but the single is actually a collaboration with ANA (All Nippon Airways)

after Nagi Nemoto left i kinda forgot about them, the interesting thing is that Youtube never recommends me their videos except just this time of the year, imagine only recalling they exist when the group releases a new summer MV...
