Most companies are using less and less to no ads on YouTube MV now! I know it was never that serious to begin with but it seems more genuine reaching 1M/2M/3M views etc ![]()
YouTube has cracked down on ads and filtering out.
It’s awkward too as I’ve noticed for example (won’t name any groups) some MVs have 10 times the views within a day but have less likes or engagement even after a few days than groups that have less views within a day but more likes and engagement.
Also now people can work it out easily by checking YouTube daily charts
A group getting 20m views on their first day but not getting into the top 40 on YouTube daily vs a group getting 3M views first day and managing to get into top 10 ![]()
We will probably start seeing new- all groups/ soloist getting less views than we’re used to as a result ![]()
