When do you think the Democrats would have a decent chance of winning in general?

  • Hakeem Jeffries lost the election of Speaker of the House to Mike Johnson today.

Democrats lost both the House and Senate on November 5th.

    Kamala Harris lost the presidency.

    All this happened in 2024.

I feel like maybe in 2026 we could see the Democratic Party regain either chamber of Congress.

But we could still have a Republican president elected in 2028.

We can also have a Democratic Speaker of the House (Hakeem Jeffries) elected with a Republican Congress.

In my view, it doesn't look possible for the Democrats to have a decent chance of winning right now in general.

  • While there will be fluctuating victories, the Left in general is facing the massive backlash globally for their failure in handling immigration and integration.

While in general people are ok to help by accepting migrants who have challenges in home countries, the left failed to regulate, ensure that home society is not affected, failed to integrate and allowed the worst elements to run rampant at the cost to the existing citizens.

That is going to dominate the narrative for few years and Left is too tied into its messaging to break away from the narrative.

While some individual democrats might win due to other factors, in big picture, democrats and other Left parties have to wait, until the anti-immigrant sentiment subsides and the Right does its own set of mistakes, may swing hard to the other side.
