MAMA US Stage in Dolby Theatre, LA
MAMA JPN in Kyocera Dome, Osaka
original post: here
1. It seems they chose that location because of its symbolic significance as the venue for the Oscars. In Japan, it wasn't the main focus from the start either, but starting in 2017, it grew bigger each year. Similarly, it seems like they plan to make it a central event in the U.S., starting this year and gradually expanding it
2. Just call it a Japanese award show at this rateㅋㅋ
3. Who cares about the scale of an award show held overseas? Embarrassing
4. Is that the best they could've done in the US? The stage was so narrow and it made me frustrated watching it. I had to turn it off
5. Why are we doing this in other counties
6. Seriously, we need to restrict award shows from going to other countries
7. Is the money low if we do it in Korea?? Why are we always doing it there?
8. How much were the tickets?
9. A disgrace
10. It doesn't even look like a Korean award show. I hate both of them
