After reading the qrts, I realized again, that the biggest hypocrites on this planet are the Kpop fans, probably.
Almost everyone is talking about their age. Maybe I don't read that many comments, but this age obsession became a trend in the last couple of months?
I mean, I don't support debuting underage kids, but 99% of Idols became trainees at age 7-13 and debut at age 15-18, that's the norm since the 1st gen!
Most Kpop fans stan groups that debuted as underage kids, yet they're preaching water. Who's the worst here, actually?

I doubt 99 (or 90%) are trainees before age 14 and many are over 18 at the debut?

I don't know the exact numbers, obviously, but most of them became trainees when they hardly hit puberty.
I mean, just look at BoA, she's a 1st gen Idol, and literally saved SME from bankruptcy as a 14 year old girl. She was 13 when she debuted. IU was 15 when she debuted.
As for group members, they are usually train for at least 3 or 4 years, before debut.
Here's a list with the youngest Idols.
The 28 Youngest K-Pop Idols To Ever Debut
Also, don't forget, Korea is obsessed with their age as well, that's why when they hit 30 they don't care about them anymore. That's the whole reason they're debuting teens, because they can perform for at least 7-10 years. But if they debut a group like Mamamoo for example, where all the members were adults, they wouldn't have a long career at any BIG4 agency.

I pretty sure the majority is over 13 when they become trainess and the average age at debut is not that young either. Take T-ara for example, I think all members was 20 or older, except Ji-yeon that was around 16. Sure we have some that are younger and debut when they 15-17, but the big majority are 18 or older.
