Is it normal to be bored at the ending episodes of a K-Drama?

  • I didn't finish watching VINCENZO because I found it boring at the end.

I wanna finish watching 눈물의 여왕 (Queen of Tears). I'm also close to the end of the K-Drama, but I don't feel like watching it.

  • 90% of kdramas I don’t make it until the end. Most the time I’m out halfway. More often than not it’s due to being bored. The worst is when the side characters and storylines suck. I will just fast forward through them.

There are a number of 16 episode k dramas that should have been 8-10.

  • I mean if it starts off good and then falls off towards the end of course it's gonna be boring, there's been dramas i dropped after the first episode. There's some i watched but it bored me just because a bias was in it.

But that's why i only watch good stuff :aespa26:

  • These two dramas are the best K-dramas. QOT's ending is bitter sweet but you'll defo love the ending

  • Most kdramas are best the first half, in the middle it often start to drag and you get 2-3 filler episodes with not much happening. No all dramas are like that of cource, but many are. Jdramas have often better format and tempo with 9-11 episodes and shorter episodes. I think 50min episodes and around 10 episodes are best.

The standard kdrama format of 16 episodes are okay, but they often would have been better with fewer ones. The last couple of years is more common with around 8-12 episodes on Nextflix. I have a bit mixed feelings about that, as I said many dramas would benefit from fewer episodes, but I also like that they have a standard format and just do one season. Now it more and more common with multiple season, I don't like it if change a the new standard is multiple seasons.
