For those who have visited Japan, what iPhone version and IOS do you need at minimum to use their transit system...aka virtual SUICA card. I prefer not having a physical card for convenience. I will be visiting Japan from Texas. Please let me know for those who used the virtual card version. Thanks.

I don't use a virtual card since I use an Android phone.
You need Mastercard or AMEX to charge the Suica funds
