Gyeongseong Creature Discussion Thread

So who’s watching this historical & monster thriller on Netflix?!? Initially I didn’t want to since I am over WWII films or series but trailer made me check it out anyways

Good to see PSJ on TV again and with HSH too!

Watching ep 1 now - so will come back to chat

Episode 1 was an okay start! The pacing is a bit slow but it is dark dark and creepy

I am on ep 3 and so far it is Okay. The story at its core is very dark and def a take on

Its weakness is the way the story is told - it’s slow, not even scary at all or no sense of suspense even, and the over all direction is off! Like the set production is so bad that it takes me out of the story and it looks like one of those film within a film.

Acting is fine and I am curious to see how it ends so I will keep watching. It’s no Glory or Kingdom level of outstandingness though!

Good news: It picks up quite a bit from ep 4 onwards! I am on ep 6 now and enjoyed these episodes. Still not scary at all but things have gotten a bit more interesting.
