What I really love about Gidle is how they use their music and platform to talk about social issues and spread positivity. Tom Boy and Nxde had great meanings behind them and this continues with their pre release track Allergy.
We all know how Kpop sets impossible beauty standards and make people feel insecure even when they are already so beautiful. South Korea has the highest percentage of plastic surgeries and it is because of the insane beauty standards set by Kpop and Kdrama industry.
Allergy talks about how you are so beautiful and you don't need to do anything. There is no such thing as beauty standards. Hope more people listen the song and get the message behind it. I also hope that the rest of the album gives off similar positivity.
