I've literally seen them hoping the entire country falls into ruin. It's not a real country to them.

And that is perfectly okay. Copying this user quote from another thread
"According to kpop stan logic, South Korea will be just fine without BTS and kpop will still thrive with its 324143 other groups, so why concern yourselves with what a measly million of fans will do with their money? I thought ARMY wasn't important.
On a serious note, I'm pretty sure ARMY will continue spending money until the end of 2023 with solo albums and merch that BigHit will drop. It's just funny how everyone just expects trickle-down ARMY economics once the boys are no longer promoting. Remember, BTS contributed nothing to South Korea, so it's best for them to continue not contributing."
Cry some more that a fandom is only interested in supporting the group and no one else. kpoppies really have this love hate energy with army. They nut to army unstanning bts for their favs but at the same time hating army. They steal all our tutorials and promotional tactics for their favs and copy most of our fanbases concept, while still hating army. Now you want us to care about SK even when bts are away? To whose benefit would that help and why does it even matter to kppopies that army don't care about kpop beyond bts?

I'm Army and this is stupid and selfish!

For a fandom that calls itself Army and has repeatedly said "when called upon they will serve" it didn't take long for the meltdowns about the real army to start.
And for what? If it's true that the Korean government want them available for promo purposes they won't be getting the full experience anyway. One round of buzz cuts for basic training, then hidden away to commence 18 months of mostly netflix watching. The chances of any one of them appearing in the White Skulls unit are nil.
