    I think she was a great choice for Ariel honestly and Ariel isn't just the skin color. She has a distinct persona and as long as Halle does a good job portraying that then there's nothing to complain about unless you've predisposed yourself to be against her :annoyedk:

    the way so many people assume she was only chosen for the role because of her skin color :hazmat-pepe: never liked ariel or her story, but i think she can make the character work
