suddenly it's wrong to compare a pre-release and a TT?? (Pink venom vs Shut down)

shut down is doing horribly compared to Pink venom on youtube,

but when people point that out, blinks come with every excuse under the sun

"you can't compare a tt with a pre release because we have to divide our attention to different songs/we just wanted to enjoy the album/a pre release gets a lot more promo and attention than a TT/Pv was a lot more hype than shut down/..."

but?? blinks have done nothing BUT compare ytc, a korean ballad tt, with pv, a promoted pre release?? even when people gave the same arguments as blinks are doing now. so not comparing pre releases to tt only counts for bp?

But they're right though. It only makes sense the mv gets less views if there's several other songs released at the same time. But we will have to wait to see their spotify numbers first before we can tell if they really were more focused on streaming the album on spotify.

yg planned for monuments worldwide to turn pink for blackpinks cb, umg planned a whole treasure hunt kind of thing to promote pv, VMA performance, big playlisting, radio,... what more do you expect?

it's the fact that blinks have been so loud about comparing a ballad TT with a promoted pre release ever since PV was released, but suddenly start using logic when the same energy is given to their faves "flopping" tt.

Ironically the pre realase feels more like the title and vice versa.

Blinks have always been hypocrites with this. They did the same with On and HYLT, only to change their narrative with LSG.

They forgot about what happened and were loud about other groups and now they suddenly remember what everyone else has known all long.

They will do it again for the next two years until their next comeback.
